Booking.com is our favourite resource to book accommodations. You can set a lot of filters and the map view just works. We love the free cancellation option for many places. You can book a wide range of accommodations like hotels, hostels, apartments, and homestays.
Hostelworld is our go to resource for hostels because they offer a wider range of hostels than booking.com.
Booking.comAgoda is our go to for accommodations in South East Asia.
Skyscanner is great for comparing flight prices because they allow you to compare whole months and all destinations worldwide. This allows you to find the best flight deals, especially when you’re flexible.
12Go is amazing for booking buses and trains (as well as flights) in Asia. We used them in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Malaysia.
Omio is great for trains and buses. We use this site for our Europe backpacking trips.
Trip.com is perfect for trains in China as well as flights.
Viator is the world's largest online marketplace for tours. They offer over 395,000 bookable experiences in 2,500 destinations worldwide.
GetYourGuide is a great resource to book tours and tickets in Europe.
Klook is a great resource to book tours and tickets in Asia and other destinations.
Guruwalk for free walking tours (we love free walking tours!).
We recently started to use eSIM cards. Airalo is our go to.
