TL;DR

Snorkelling is one of the best Caye Caulker activities. We have compiled our top three Caye Caulker snorkel tours to help you choose the best Caye Caulker tour for you!

If you want to snorkel Caye Caulker, we can personally recommend these three Caye Caulker tours:

Snorkelling Tours Caye Caulker

1. Caye Caulker Marine Reserve 3 Hour Snorkeling Tour

Rating: 4.8 / 5 (13 reviews)

Tour provider: Anda de Wata Tour's

Why choose this tour? We chose to go on this tour because the Caye Caulker Marine Reserve is only a short ride away from Caye Caulker making this the most convenient tour.

The lady at the tour office is extremely nice and helpful. She was very honest about the tour and we were 100% convinced to go without her being salesy.

All in all, we liked every single stop and had a great Caye Caulker excursion!

What can you expect from this tour? The Marine Reserve 3.0-Hour Snorkeling Tour will get you to 3 locations in the Caye Caulker Marine Reserve:

  1. Serene South Channel where you can snorkel with barracudas, moray eels, and snappers.
  2. Exhilarating Stingray Alley where you’ll swim with sharks and stingrays.
  3. Mystical Coral Gardens where you can view butterfly fish, damsel fish, stoplight parrotfish, and many others.
  4. As a bonus stop, you will be taken to "The Tarpon Pool", an underwater cave where you can see game fish called tarpon.

Including:

  • Entrance fee to Caye Caulker Marine Reserve.
  • Equipment.
  • Purified water.
  • Fresh fruit.

Absolutely loved this trip. All staff were brilliant, guides & the lady in the office. Great value for money too. We snorkelling along the reef whilst being told about different fish etc, this lasted a good amount of time. We then moved to ‘Stingray Alley’ which did not disappoint. The Stingrays definitely do not understand personal space but what a wonderful experience along with swimming with the Nurse Sharks too. We were then anchored up & were allowed to go snorkelling on our own for a while. Overall an incredible experience. To finish we had a lovely variety of fresh fruits

2. Caye Caulker Snorkeling Tour to Hol Chan Marine Reserve

Rating: 5.0 / 5 (1 review)

Tour provider: Anda de Wata Tour's

Why choose this tour? We chose this tour because it’s the only tour that visits San Pedro for lunch. We just prefer having a nice lunch on land to having a small lunch on a boat or no proper lunch at all on a full-day excursion.

What can you expect from this tour? The Hol-Chan Snorkeling & San Pedro Tour w/ Lunch will bring you to the Hol-Chan Marine Reserve, the oldest marine reserve in Belize. It is located in the Belize Barrier Reef, one of the largest barrier reefs in the world.

You can see an abundance of tropical fish, sea turtles, sharks, sting rays, and maybe even manatees, depending on the time of year.

You’ll have four snorkel stops:

  1. Hol-Chan Reserve.
  2. Sting Ray Alley.
  3. The Wreck.
  4. Coral Gardens.

Hol Chan is located off the southern tip of Ambergris Caye. This makes it easy to enjoy lunch at a local beachfront restaurant in San Pedro. Don’t miss out on this!

Including:

  • Licensed captain and tour guide: Spanish and English-Speaking.
  • Park fees.
  • Equipment.
  • Lunch.
  • Purified water.
  • Fresh fruit.

We had a fabulous day! Ian and Tyresse took great care of us! Lunch at San Pedro was good. We had 5 snorkeling stops and saw so many things including swimming with 3 manatees! Swimming around the sharks was cool too! Highly recommend Anda Da Wata!!!

3. 7-Stop Snorkeling in the Belize Barrier Reef

Rating: 4.8 / 5 (150 reviews)

Tour provider: Salt Life Eco Tours

Likely to sell out

Why choose this tour? Real talk: Snorkelling excursions are not always eco-friendly. Salt Life Eco Tours start their day with a quick briefing on what to do and not to do. If being eco-conscious is a priority for you, this is the tour for you.

What can you expect from this tour? The 7-Stop Snorkeling in the Belize Barrier Reef starts with a speedboat ride to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve where you’ll hop in the water to look for wildlife like turtles and manatees.

Afterwards, feel the thrill of diving with sharks in Ray Alley.

You’ll have lunch on board.

After lunch, you’ll explore an amazing shipwreck, coral gardens, and hopefully see more turtles.

The tour ends with a bonus stop to see seahorses.

You’ll get GoPro photos and videos to make this experience unforgettable.

Including:

  • Snorkelling equipment.
  • Lunch and drinks.
  • GoPro photos and videos.
  • Tour guide.
  • All park fees.
  • Small group tour with 4 to 10 people.

Best snorkelling that we have ever done. We saw manatees, turtles, sharks and loads of different fish - everything we could have hoped to see. The staff looked after everyone really well, especially weaker swimmers and people who had difficulty climbing the ladder back onto the boat - you never felt that you were a burden. As an added bonus, the lunch was really good.
