TL;DR

No-fluff guide to the best beaches in Paphos you can actually reach (even without a car), complete with a practical map, public transport tips, sunbed prices, and honest recommendations on what’s truly worth your time.

If you’ve ever typed “Top Beaches in Paphos Cyprus” into Google and ended up with a list that sends you everywhere except Paphos, you know the frustration.

We’ve been there. And after walking the coastline, testing the bus routes, and laying on more sunbeds than we’d like to admit, we decided to fix the problem properly.

This guide is built for travellers who actually want beaches in Paphos – not “near-ish,” but beaches you can realistically visit from downtown – even without a rental car.

Whether you’re chasing proper sandy beaches like Coral Bay Beach, family-friendly stretches like Geroskipou Beach, or wild gems like Lara Beach, we’ve sorted them clearly and practically.

And because we hate vague directions as much as you do, we’ve included a dedicated Paphos Beaches Map so you can see exactly where everything is before you even leave your hotel. No guessing. No zooming in and out of random Google pins. Just clarity.

If you’re here for sandy beaches, public transport tips, sunbed prices, and honest opinions about what’s actually worth your time – you’re in the right place.

Where We Stayed in Paphos

Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Beach Hotel & Spa Paphos

  • 9.0 / 10 rating on booking.com (4661+ reviews).
  • 4 stars.
  • ADULTS ONLY.
  • All-inclusive option.

We personally chose Leonardo Plaza Cypria Maris Beach Hotel & Spa because we wanted an adults-only hotel with great value for money.

The beach is nice and the swimming is wonderful. When we visited, there were always enough free sunbeds at the pool and on the beach – perfect for beach bums like us.

For relaxation, there’s a wellness centre with a sauna, an indoor pool, and a whirlpool.

We booked the all-inclusive option and were very happy. The food is of good quality. You can choose from a buffet restaurant, a Greek tavern, and an Asian restaurant. The all-inclusive drinks from the bar were tasty – there’s even a swim-up bar.

You can take bus 611 from Kato Paphos or walk along the seafront promenade. Bus 612 takes you directly to the airport.
